| | | | Announcing the Junior Leagues’ Kids in the Kitchen Cookbook! | | |
Our sights are set ahead to March 2009, National Nutrition Month and the anticipated launch of the Junior Leagues’ Kids in the Kitchen Cookbook. AJLI and FRP Books are teaming up in an effort to support the JLs’ Kids in the Kitchen initiative to conquer childhood obesity and encourage healthy eating and physical activity by developing a cookbook that will complement and support the KITK initiatives on a local and national level. In keeping with the Junior League cookbook tradition, we have just finished collecting favorite, healthy, kid friendly recipes, tips for cooking with kids and activities that will get kids moving to encourage an overall healthier lifestyle. This new cookbook will be available on our site in March 2009!
